To keep the fun going, the key elements of a Café Attendant are greeting customers in a friendly, welcoming manner, taking customers’ orders, prepare great food and drinks, and deliver customers’ orders quickly and accurately with excellent customer service. The café is fast-paced and varied. In addition to meeting all requirements of a Floor Attendant to the highest standard of performance, the Café Attendant ensures all café tables and counters are clean and tidy when guests arrive, takes orders, answers questions about food and drink options, and provides exceptional customer service with a happy demeanor. They also ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages throughout the service time. Café Attendants follow standard recipes, portion control and procedures within specified time limits. This includes measuring, portioning, mixing, heating/cooling, and assembling ingredients to create delicious menu items. Café Attendants also ensure that all sanitation requirements are consistently met, supplies stocked, and prep work is completed for a smooth-running operation.
